The autocaravanista spent an average € 3,500 per year

As explained by the cooperative «The motorhome driver spends an average of 3,500 euros per year on his tourist activity and fuel consumption, restaurants. food, culture and services». They also consider that «the Pasarela car park is a strategic place for parking these vehicles due to its easy access, its proximity to the historic center and means of transport such as the train or catamaran. In a few months this point has become a reference for the sector, with our city already included in the routes created by motorhome groups for their members and for international clubs.

Those responsible for Feprodeca understand that "tourism is changing and El Puerto cannot let this opportunity pass by," while insisting that this activity "does not harm any sector and is an opportunity for the creation of wealth and employment in the city."

The co-op adds, moreover, that this car park could be adapted easily to provide service to these vehicles, according to the instruction 08/V/74, with the possibility of providing potable water supply, light, and a place for the emptying of containers and waste collection.

For Feprodeca "a motorhome parking lot with a service area is a generator of funds for the city where it is located and causes the influx of travelers to increase exponentially."
