One of the key points to get to know the Sobrarbe region is the town of Aínsa. You will feel that you are traveling back in time when you move through its medieval-looking streets, making it one of the most beautiful villages in all of the Pyrenees. Despite its location between mountains, it is a town that is very well connected by road and has the privilege of being one of the access routes to the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.

To get to know the Sobrarbe region, you cannot miss the high Pyrenean valleys, formed largely thanks to the Ara and Cinca rivers. Other attractions are the three natural parks that occupy part of the territory belonging to the Comarca del Sobrarbe:

  • Ordesa and Monte Perdido. This natural park is one of the great natural treasures that we can enjoy in the Aragonese Pyrenees. From the Monte Perdido massif to the glacial valleys of Ordesa and Pineta, it is a perfect place for fans of mountain hiking.
  • Poset-Maladeta. A variety of landscapes for your senses to enjoy beautifully. The peculiarity of this Pyrenean natural park is that it has several peaks over 3,000 meters (Aneto, Maladeta or Posets, among others), as well as large glaciers.
  • Guara. In the case of this natural park, we must highlight the Sierra and the Cañones de Guara, where ravines and canyons abound. This feature has made it very famous among lovers of canyoning. If you find yourself between them, the Guara Natural Park awaits you.
