Booking via the website is fine. But staff are rude, obviously tired and cannot be bothered with you. During check in they ask you to hand write all of the details you have entered via the website, what even is the point of this if I have already provided the same information. It is just a bare asphalt parking area. electricity points are shared and look fairly overcrowded. Your cables will likely be run over by traffic. Facilities for washing are basic and no amenities like soap or locks on the doors… which is fine, but room for improvement. black and greywater disposal is ok, the hose for filling fresh water was just loosely thrown onto the ground in the dirt with many holes etc. not hygienic at all but clearly normal there i’d say. an easy walk into Sevilla, takes about 25 mins to the most direct point and park areas, 40 mins to cathedral area. If you plan on coming back late be aware that the business blocks off the only road in with a car. this is apparently for added security. the walk from that point to the actual main entrance is about 600m and pitch black. we had to carry our baby and everything else for the day along here, not great. Then, you’ll have to ring a buzzer and wait for someone to let you in. If you plan to leave on a weekend when the main business is closed, be aware ,and make sure to try and leave in good time. We waited for 15mins by the reception area, constantly calling the number provided and ringing the main gate buzzer to get someone’s attention. eventually I found a man washing cars and tried to wave him over after pointing at the line of caravans trying to leave had built up to around 5. he proceeded to gesture at me like he was busy, turned around and kept washing the car. we then shouted back and forth quickly which obviously made him angry, he threw down the pressure washer and stormed past all of the waiting people and into the office. he then had to find my hand written check in form. he couldn’t and i am not surprised as they were all just in piles on the desk, not organised at all. He then wouldnt let me leave as he said he needed proof that i had only been there for the amount of time i had paid for and he would need to see proof of payment. After showing him the check in emails and proof of payment he proceeded to serve other people before actually opening the gate to let us leave. Aside from the very polite and happy older gentleman that checked us in and a day/ evening in one of our favourite cities, not a great experience here.
I made the wrong day by mistake and they didn't let me cancel.
