The Nao Victoria has hosted in recent weeks in Puerto Sherry the filming of the series 'Conquistadores: Adventum', which recreates the first 30 years of the conquest and discovery of America, from Christopher Columbus to Juan Sebastián El Cano.
This historic production, halfway between fiction and documentary, produced by Movistar+ in collaboration with Global Set, will consist of 8 one-hour episodes and will premiere this year on channel #0.
After filming in the Amazon jungle and in the indigenous villages of Brazil, the filming of 'Conquistadores: Adventum' has ended up in Puerto Sherry. For two weeks a team made up of more than fifty people has been recording scenes on the Nao Victoria, both in port and on the high seas.
Specifically, the Nao Victoria has served as the setting to recreate the boats in which 5 discoverers made their voyages, including Columbus and El Cano. The scenes shot on the high seas in the Bay of Cádiz have had, despite the low temperatures of recent days, favorable weather conditions that have facilitated the scheduled filming.
The actors and the entire filming and production team have stayed at the Hotel Puerto Sherry, whose facilities have also accommodated the costume and characterization set, installed in the 'Columbus Room'.

If you are a motorhome visitor, visit the Puerto de Santa María Area as a place to spend the night and leave your motorhome in a guarded parking lot. If you don't know her yet In previous years, there were many motorhome owners who chose the Puerto de Santa María Area as a place to spend the night and leave their motorhome in a guarded parking lot, among other things because of the tranquility and the ease of traveling to Cádiz on the Catamaran or by train, both stations very close to the area. If you don't know her yet
