The essence of Salvatge

The tour begins in the vineyards of the finca Nadal of Boadella, some of which are over 65 years of age. The farmhouse, the winery and the cava, founded in 1943, are located in the center of the finca.

We will do a tour through the main stages of the preparation process of the sparkling wine of quality.

We will visit the wine cellar at more than 20 meters depth, where we will see the resting of the bottles and the second fermentation phase.

THE TASTING

Do you know why we call it Salvatge? Because the harvest of 1984 provided us with the "wild" wines, with a lot of structure and character, very fresh and aromatic. The long aging in cava gives them softness and nobility.

Do you know the story of the pink Nadal? In 1964 the first bottle was produced, with the name of Pink Brut and Rosé and semi-dry. Since 2007 this wine is known as Brut Rosé Sauvagewhich is much more delicate, fresh and fruity.

SALVATGE Rosé Brut 2014a limited edition of an exceptional crop of Pinot Noir accompanied by is paired with caramelized hazelnut from the Foment Agrícola de les Garrigues.

SALVATGE Brut 2014, a sparkling reflection of the eternal youth of the best macabeo wines, result of over four years of bottled ageing in the cellar accompanied by roasted and salted pistachios from the Foment Agrícola de les Garrigues.

NADAL X Vermell 2018, a sophisticated and fresh white wine, made with the variety recovered xarel·lo red.

And to finish, you will discover NADAL 1510 Botrytis Noble 2001a sweet white wine that combined smooth character and harmony accompanied by Catànies Cudié bonbons, ideal for surprising your best guests.
